Immediate opening: rebar fixer (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Boone County, Illinois. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Performance bonus on top of base pay.
