Port container crane operator • Miami County, Indiana

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Miami County, Indiana. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day-to-day duties: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
