Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Lowndes County, Georgia. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Full-time with occasional weekends.
