Gardener — Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Washington County, Arkansas. You will work in a botanical garden. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Your main tasks: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
