Vacancy available: paint booth operator (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint booth operator in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will be based at a powder coating unit. On the job you will handle: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
