Horizontal milling machine operator • Holt County, Nebraska

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Holt County, Nebraska. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Your main tasks: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Full-time with occasional weekends.
