Sewing machine operator — Dodge County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Dodge County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Meals and transport allowance provided.
