Gas pipe fitter — Middlesex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration The role involves test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
