Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in City of Suffolk, Virginia. Day to day you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Overtime paid at a premium rate.
