Confectioner wanted in Goochland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Goochland County, Virginia. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. On the job you will handle: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Rotating shifts.
