Wheel loader operator — Mora County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Mora County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Understanding of safe digging near underground services At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
