Immediate opening: we are hiring an electronics assembly operator in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will be based at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Careful handling of tools and components Rotating shifts.
