Dogger — Macon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Macon County, Illinois. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Read lift plans and method statements before starting 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
