Core maker — Clark County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Clark County, Arkansas. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 3+ years on the tools preferred.
