Kitchen cook — Rockingham County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Rockingham County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Your main tasks: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
