Escalator technician — Caswell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Caswell County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Full-time with occasional weekends.
