Vacancy available: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Saint Clair County, Michigan. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel On the job you will handle: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
