Plant operator — Peoria County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Peoria County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Your main tasks: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals 1+ years on the tools preferred.
