Foundry operative — Yabo

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Yabo, Sokoto State. The role involves: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
