Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Todd County, South Dakota. You will work in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments.
