Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Shawano County, Wisconsin. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Full-time with occasional weekends.
