Construction helper wanted in Winnebago County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Winnebago County, Illinois. The job is on a commercial building project. On the job you will handle: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
