Blocklayer wanted in Kent County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Kent County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
