Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Jefferson County, Texas. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 3+ years on the tools preferred.
