Power press operator — Alameda County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Alameda County, California. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day to day you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
