Earthmoving plant operator — Kaga

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Kaga, Borno State. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
