Wheel loader operator — Mid and East Antrim

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Mid and East Antrim, Northern Ireland. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
