Laundry presser — Amador County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Amador County, California. You will work in a garment export house. You will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
