Vertical milling machine operator • Pulaski County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Pulaski County, Virginia. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. You will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Six days a week, one day off.
