Urgent requirement: fusing press operator (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in City of Leicester, England. Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory £85 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
