Fabricator-welder — Chickasaw County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chickasaw County, Iowa. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Six days a week, one day off.
