Crane rigger • Bende, Abia State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Bende, Abia State. The job is at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
