Now hiring: rough terrain crane operator (Abia State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Isiala-Ngwa South, Abia State. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Part-time with flexible hours.
