You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots.
