Turning centre operator — Houston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Houston County, Minnesota. On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Part-time with flexible hours.
