Falsework carpenter wanted in Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Scott County, Kansas. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
