Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Ellis County, Oklahoma. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Rotating shifts. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
