Brick and block layer — Mille Lacs County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
