System formwork carpenter — Richmond County

Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Richmond County, North Carolina. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. On a typical shift you will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Overtime paid at a premium rate.
