Fabricator-welder — Madison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Madison County, Florida. The job is at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
