Escalator technician wanted in Hocking County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Hocking County, Ohio. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
