Press shop operator wanted in Dutchess County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Dutchess County, New York. Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; record output and downtime on the production sheet; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
