Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; load and index turning tools in the turret; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
