Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Wayne County, Nebraska. The job is at an accident repair centre. On a typical shift you will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
