Mobile crane operator • Madison County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Madison County, Iowa. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
