Milling machine operator — New York County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in New York County, New York. The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
