The role involves set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
