Immediate opening: landscape gardener (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Stafford County, Virginia. The job is at a landscaping company. Day to day you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred.
