Dogger — Vance County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Vance County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience.
