Stone mason — Merced County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stone mason in Merced County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin You should have: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish 1+ years on the tools preferred.
